Hackness Ladies Choir

Hackness Ladies Choir CONCERT FOR A JUNE EVENING June 27th
Thank you H L.C. for a lovely evening. . A gem stone of an evening with music which included organ playing and clavinova playing, plus a choir who sang their hearts out.
There was lots of good humour, funny tales of Our Albert, a Humpty Dumpty song and performances which cannot be forgotten.

All of the music was good, well thought out and interesting. It included songs as well as hymns of happiness and praise a wide and varied programme.
The choir were dressed in white blouses black skirts or trousers and each with a beautiful floral scarf. They made a lovely sight as they sang a wide variety of music ranging from African folk tunes to English and American pop.
Frank l James was the Choir pianist and organ player . His playing of the organ was a treat for us all. to listen to and to realise once again how fortunate we are to be able to listen and to sing with live organ music every Sunday morning in a chapel which was specially designed to enhance the sound of singing voices and organ.
A big thank you is given Ralf Earswick, the choir conductor, who added a touch of class and professionalism to the evening.
As always at Seamer there was a huge buffet ready after the concert for us all to tuck into and enjoy.
I like musical evenings I enjoy choirs and singing and so I now eagerly wait for the next concert at Seamer which will be Saturday 25th July when our own Seamer singing group plus Mandy Clayton and Karl Keegan will be entertaining us.
COME ALONG SUPPORT SMC LISTEN TO THE MUSIC AND ENJOY A WONDERFUL NIGHT OF MUSIC AND SINGING .A warm welcome to all who come along
